Course Description:
This American Heart Association Course For Healthcare Professionals will teach:

  • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
  • Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
  • Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR
  • Cardiopulminary Emergencies and Special Resuscitation Situations


Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this class the student will learn and practice basic life support skills
including CPR, AED use, and ventilations, as well as additional life-saving techniques that can
help those experiencing cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, or an obstructed airway.
